
A partner in the Pillsbury’s Finance practice, F. Joseph Owens focuses on project, asset-based and acquisition financings, securities offerings, corporate trust, credit restructurings, bankruptcies and related litigation.
Possessing extensive experience in U.S. and international financial transactions, Joe has been resident in the firm’s London and Hong Kong offices.
His assignments have included advising banks and borrowers and issuers of securities involved in U.S. and international financings; advising commercial banks and other interested parties on domestic and international project financings; advising public utilities and venture capital groups on financings and issuances of securities; and advising obligors and banks on credit restructurings, bankruptcies and litigation.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE : Represented Deutsche Bank subsidiaries DB Fund Services LLC and Hedgeworks Fund Services Ltd. after investors sued to recoup investment losses. Obtained sweeping summary judgement in favor of clients.
