Fangzhou (Fred) Qiu is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. Mr. Qiu works on a range of intellectual property matters, focusing on patent prosecution and litigation. He has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications covering technologies related to social networking, machine learning, cloud computing, search engines, blockchain, wireless communication, signal processing, and electrical grids.
His litigation practice includes federal district court litigation and IPR proceedings. He has experience in pre-suit investigation, negotiations, invalidity/infringement contentions, claim construction, fact/expert discovery, and motion practice.
