Farah F. Cook focuses her practice on technology focused commercial agreements, as well as vendor agreements and supply chain, marketing and advertising transactions. Farah has experience negotiating distribution agreements, statements of work, master services, digital analytics, software as a service (SaaS), sales, cross-promotional, consulting, vendor, events, sponsorships, marketing promotions, equipment licensing, and technology procurement agreements.
Farah also has broad experience managing and negotiating a wide range of commercial transactions for clients of all sizes. In addition to her corporate and commercial law background, she brings promotional marketing, digital transactions, and advertising experience. Farah’s combination of in-house and big law firm experience, as well as her broad practice, gives her the ability to creatively and efficiently identify, understand, and navigate commercial issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Farah was a senior counsel in the Atlanta, Georgia office of a law firm where she served as outside technology and commercial counsel to Fortune 100 and 500 publicly traded companies in the healthcare, financial services, technology, and communications industries.
Previously, Farah provided legal support to a Fortune 100 company’s regional sales, retail sales, and global marketing functions. While supporting the global marketing functions, she worked with integrative and analytical marketing business units to on-board various global tools to facilitate the use of social media, digital, and marketing research analytics in the company’s business operations.
Farah also worked in-house with the Handprint Group, a provider of government affairs and business consulting services, and Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. where she was a lead attorney in negotiating and drafting secured lending transactions, professional services agreements, memorandums of understanding related to equity investments, private placement agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, non-circumvention, and strategic alliance agreements.
While attending law school, Farah was a member of the Howard Law Journal and studied International Banking and Finance abroad at Cornell Law School in Paris, France. She was a participant on the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition team that won first place for Best Brief and second place for Oral Arguments.
Farah is proficient in French.
