Farhana Choudhury is an associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Choudhury joined Debevoise in 2016. In 2018, she clerked for the Hon. William F. Kuntz of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2016, where she served as a notes editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and was a Special Pro Bono Pledge Honoree. She received a B.A. magna cum laude from Baruch College, The City University of New York in 2012.
Ms. Choudhury is the author of “The United Nations Immunity Regime: Seeking a Balance Between Unfettered Protection and Accountability,” 104 GEO L.J. 725 (2016).
Ms. Choudhury is a member of the Bar of New York and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is fluent in Bengali and Hindi.
