Frances C. Mosley focuses her practice on transactional and corporate matters, with an emphasis on representing investors and entrepreneurs in venture capital financings, general corporate matters, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Mosley regularly serves as outside general counsel to emerging growth companies, advising on various stages of the corporate life cycle, including formation; day-to-day operations and corporate governance matters; board, advisor and employment matters; stock plans; and capital raising.
She has managed equity and debt financings, strategic investments and securities law compliance; and negotiated founder agreements, employment and consulting agreements, and advisory agreements.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Mosley worked as a corporate paralegal at a firm in Silicon Valley, where she supported all aspects of private venture capital transactions, mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Mosley was a pretrial services intern at the US Department of Justice in San Francisco. Ms. Mosley has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in Corporate Law each year from 2014 to 2018.
