Frederick (Rick) Eberstadt focuses his practice on commercial litigation and government investigations in both civil and criminal matters. Rick also participates in Steptoe’s pro bono program, assisting clients in adoption, First Amendment, and civil litigation cases.
During law school, Rick served as a judicial intern for US Magistrate Judge Joel C. Hoppe (W.D. Va.), where he assisted with civil and criminal matters and drafted Reports and Recommendations on Section 1983 litigation.
Prior to law school, Rick worked as an associate for a strategic communications firm, as a research assistant in the US House of Representatives, and as a research assistant for Time Magazine’s Michael Duffy.
