Fritz grew up in Vermont and joined the firm in 1992. Fritz helps people and businesses navigate through the litigation process in a number of areas.
- Personal injury, including motor vehicle collisions, burns, dangerous products, premise liability, slip and falls, and other claims based on negligence.
- Criminal law, including DUIs and other driving offenses, assaults, thefts, marijuana and other drug charges, and various misdemeanor and felony charges.
- Family law, including divorces, legal separations, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody, and child support cases.
- Land use litigation, including eminent domain and condemnation cases, zoning and permitting disputes, and right-of-way, easement, and boundary cases.
Fritz is an active member in the American Bar Association. He served as State Delegate from Vermont to the ABA House of Delegates from 2007 to 2016. He is currently serving on the Council of the Solo, Small Firm General Practice Division of the ABA and is a member of the ABA Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services.
He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and is currently the Vermont chair of the ABF Fellows. Fritz will be serving as a member of the ABA Board of Governors beginning in August of 2017.
Prior to returning home to Vermont in 1992, Fritz was an associate in the litigation department at Winston & Strawn in Chicago.
