Galen M. Lichtenstein represents and counsels employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including : Discrimination and harassment litigation, Wrongful termination, Wage and hour issues, Matters before the National Labor Relations Board, Advice and counseling.
Regularly appearing in state and federal courts, his diverse labor and employment practice includes handling bench trials, as well as hearings before the National Labor Relations Board and the California Labor Commissioner. He has specific experience handling claims under Title VII, the National Labor Relations Act, the California Labor Code, and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.
Galen also represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, and compliance counseling, and often works with clients in the following industries : Restaurants, Transportation, Government consulting, Health care. Galen serves as a member of the Hiring Committee in Littler Mendelson’s San Francisco office.
