Garrett Fail is a partner in Weil’s Business Finance & Restructuring Department. Mr. Fail’s practice covers all aspects of domestic and international debt restructurings, as well as crisis management and corporate governance. He has extensive experience representing creditors, buyers and sellers, DIP lenders, investors, and companies in distress across a variety of industries in chapter 11 cases and in out-of-court debt restructurings.
Mr. Fail has played a lead role in representing debtors, including in filing and prosecuting the largest chapter 11 cases in history for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and its affiliates, and the chapter 11 cases of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, Aéropostale, Inc., The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc., Southern Air Holdings Inc., The New York Racing Association, Galvex Services, Parmalat USA, Twinlab Corporation, and Global Crossing.
