
Genta Iwasaki is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Corporate Transactions & Securities Group and a member of the Japan Business Team. He guides clients on securities offerings, governance matters, and supplier relationships.
Genta received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, an M.S. in gerontology from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, a B.A. in law from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, and another B.A., magna cum laude, in urban studies from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
Before law school, Genta was an account executive at KDDI America Inc., where he worked to build relationships with various Japanese clients in and around New York City.
Genta is the Atlanta chapter ambassador for Aging2.0, a global innovation platform focused on connecting and supporting entrepreneurs in the aging field. As ambassador, Genta provides all of the needed resources to help the chapter run successfully, including marketing, event planning, and liaising with startups and industry leaders.
