Geoffrey M. Raux is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Raux represents a variety of clients in the business and health care sectors.
His practice concentrates on complex commercial and health care litigation matters, internal investigations, and government compliance. Mr. Raux also handles Medicare and Medicaid appeals, employment litigation, and has substantial experience drafting and negotiating clinical trial agreements.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Raux was an associate with the New York office of Dewey Ballantine LLP. He was involved in several civil and criminal litigation matters, including white collar criminal defense, labor disputes, and False Claims Act litigation.
Mr. Raux earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard International Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University.
Mr. Raux served as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army Reserves, assigned to the 8th Brigade, 98th Division, where he was an assistant professor of military science teaching at Northeastern University and Boston College. Mr. Raux was Airborne qualified and held a top secret security clearance.

Mr. Raux is a member of the American Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, and American Health Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island, and before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, D.C. Court of Appeals, the District of Massachusetts, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Rhode Island, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
