
George Andrew Hawkins focuses his practice on business representation, civil litigation, and all matters affecting real estate. He represents buyers, sellers, and developers in all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
He also advises and counsels businesses in all aspects ranging from the formation, acquisition, and management of the business entity. George has served on NVAR’s standard forms committee since 2011 and was the 2015 Chair of that committee.
He is often asked to speak to members of the real estate community on current legal and regulatory matters affecting their industry, including title matters and regulatory changes that affect residential real estate settlements.
George has spoken to a variety of groups concerning business formation, including the Small Business Administration’s S.C.O.R.E. program. George is a published chapter editor for The Virginia Lawyer: A Deskbook for Practitioners, “Representing Debtors and Creditors.”
