
Glen Schmiege is a member of the firm’s Administrative and Municipal Practice Group, with a knack for strategizing and problem solving. He applies this skill set to his work in administrative, telecommunications and utilities matters.
Glen’s clients benefit from his more than 20 years experience in handling telecommunications matters for clients in Michigan. This includes regulatory issues, rate cases, litigation of disputes between providers, contracts, as well as association organization and membership issues.
On the utilities front, Glen is known for his ability to handle regulatory matters and contested cases. Additionally, he has developed a strong administrative law practice that includes comment filings, work with staff of government agencies and appeals.
Glen is admitted to the Michigan Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, and Ingham County Bar Association. He also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk and Research Attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, he graduated with highest honors from Delta College and continued his education at Michigan State University, where he graduated with honors, before receiving his legal education and juris doctorate from the University of Michigan in 1984.
