
Grant Uhler is an associate in the Firm’s Chicago office, where he is part of the Employment Counseling & Litigation Practice Group. Focused on global employment law and global mobility, he advises clients on international and domestic tax, social security, compensation and employment law issues that arise with respect to globally mobile employee and non-employee populations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Mr. Uhler advises multinational companies on global employment and mobility issues affecting cross-border employee and non-employee transfers. These include international assignment policies, corporate payroll tax reporting and withholding obligations, information reporting requirements, foreign asset reporting, immigration and personal taxation.
He also has experience consulting with companies concerning their equity compensation plan design, implementation, and administration, qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation reviews, employee classification, and fringe benefit taxation.
