Mr. Knutson has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arkansas, an M.B.A. degree, and a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
During law school, Gregg worked as a law clerk at Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruniski & Calhoun, Ltd. and Eichenbaum, Scott, Miller, Liles & Heister, P.A. He later worked as an associate at Wallace & Hamner, before opening his own practice in 2002.
At Wallace & Hamner, Gregg persuaded the Arkansas Supreme Court to adopt a change in the mechanic’s lien law involving allocation of the proceeds from a foreclosure sale. See Simmons First National Bank v. Bob Callahan Services, Inc., 340 Ark. 692, 13 S.W.3d 570 (2000).
He also handled numerous divorce, custody, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and business law matters. Gregg practiced law in Little Rock as a solo practitioner from 2002 until 2012.
He moved his practice to Saline County in 2012. He regularly appears in court in Saline County, Pulaski County, and surrounding areas. He has also handled over thirty appeals to the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
He continues to have a diverse practice which includes a mix of litigation and transactions. Gregg and his family live in Benton, Arkansas, where he serves on the board of the Saline County Kiwanis Club.
He also is active at First United Methodist Church in Benton. He recently graduated as a member of the 2014 class of the Saline County Leadership program.
