Gregory Gilmore is an experienced litigator who provides strategic legal advice and counsel to commercial clients facing high-exposure lawsuits, employment claims involving allegations of discrimination and harassment— which he defends in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey and before state and federal administrative agencies — and employee benefits claims under ERISA.
He often obtains findings of no probable cause in high-profile age and race discrimination claims, most recently from the State of New Jersey Division on Civil Rights in defense of an electronics company.
Greg also litigates cases involving the enforcement of arbitration and non-compete agreements and conducts workplace investigations of discrimination complaints.
Greg’s wide-ranging practice also includes the successful defense of an array of negligence claims, including premises liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and product liability. For an international overnight delivery company.
Greg was able to get negligent entrustment and hiring claims dismissed, which resulted in the preclusion of the company’s safety and training manuals and videos — as well as the defendant driver’s driving history, including prior motor vehicle violations, all of which led to a favorable settlement.
Greg is active in a number of legal organizations and in community affairs, where he is currently serving as president of the Board of Trustees of the Fair Housing Council of Northern New Jersey.
