  • Linex Technologies, Inc. v. Hewlett-Packard Company et al. (District Court). Represented Hewlett-Packard, in patent infringement litigation involving MIMO wireless communication systems. Matter resolved favorably on summary judgment of non-infringement and invalidity.
  • In the Matter of Certain Wireless Devices with 3G Capabilities and Components Thereof, Investigation No. 337-TA-800 (U.S. International Trade Commission). Represented Huawei Technologies in a multi-patent, multi-respondent infringement litigation involving smartphones, tablets, and access points for 3G cellular standards. Matter resolved on final determination of no violation.
  • Responded to several U.S.P.T.O. Office Actions for patents relating to financial news data technologies for a leading financial services company.

Pro Bono :

  • Representing state prisoner in petition for federal habeas corpus and New York State CPL 440 appeal.
  • Successfully represented woman from Burkina Faso who was seeking asylum in the United States.
  • Advised international NGO for sustainable fisheries on contract and various business matters.
  • Worked with a large Covington team to advise a municipality on simplifying its rules and regulations for small businesses.
