Guang-Yu Zhu focuses his practice on patent litigation, primarily in the electrical and computer technology areas. Guang-Yu has experience in matters involving a variety of technologies, such as near field communications, computer hardware, software and business methods, 3-D imaging systems, consumer electronics, and networks.
Guang-Yu also contributes his time to pro bono matters on behalf of veterans before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He is listed on the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Guang-Yu worked at a boutique patent law firm, where he drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications. Before his legal career, he worked at a major bank trading currencies and precious metals.
