
Helayne Levy obtained her Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Columbia University, Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law Center for Excellence in Elder Law and Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.
Helayne opened and works at Elder Law & Life Care Planning Center. The Center is a practicing member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association design to be a holistic and comprehensive resource to the aging community in addressing their issues through an innovative and collaborative way.
Her interest in elder rights encompasses area such as policy development and advocacy efforts for better quality of life for senior citizens. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Brunswick Senior Resources Inc.
BRSRI is an non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of life of Brunswick senior citizens through advocacy and delivery of service.
Helayne is a member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and North Carolina Chapter of the Board of Directors for the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She also has membership in the North Carolina Bar Association, Leading Lawyers on Estate & Long Term Care Planning, the North Carolina Bar Association Elder Law Section Council, the Estate Planning, Special Needs and Guardianship sections, the Cape Fear Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging Elder Abuse Prevention Network and the Board of Commissioners for the Wilmington Housing Authority.
