Holly L. Cline is an associate in the firm’s Harrisburg office, where she focuses her practice in labor and employment law. She defends employers in a wide range of matters before both state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including defending claims arising under Title VII, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the American with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and Section 1981 and Section 1983.
Holly began her career in the firm’s litigation section, representing health care entities, insurers, employers and corporate and business clients in civil litigation matters. As a litigation associate, she focused her practice primarily on commercial, employment, insurance and procurement matters. Holly has experience litigating before trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative agencies. She also has experience handling arbitrations and mediations.
In addition to her litigation practice, Holly advises clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, as well as general business matters, including compliance with wage and hour laws, discrimination and family and medical leave laws, hiring and discharging employees, sexual harassment, retaliation, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets and compliance with other state and federal employment laws.
Holly graduated cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2008 where she was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society and a recipient of various academic awards, including the Law, Science & Policy Award. Holly also served as a Comments Editor for thePenn State Law Review. While at Dickinson College, she interned with the Honorable John F. Cherry of the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
