Holly Wallinger has a national practice representing insurance and other financial service companies and providing advice on regulatory and general corporate matters. Her practice includes a focus on unclaimed property defense of life insurance companies addressing potential death claims and general ledger audits, as well as local counsel work on matters before the Ohio Department of Insurance.
Holly also helps health insurance and managed care companies comply with state and federal health insurance laws, including the Affordable Care Act. Prior to private practice, Holly served as an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Ohio, defending statewide-elected officeholders in state and federal litigation.
In addition, Holly served as a term law clerk for the US District Court, Southern District of Ohio and as a staff attorney for a Franklin County judge. Holly also has experience representing a wide range of corporate clients in contract and employment matters, as an attorney for a boutique litigation firm in Columbus, Ohio.
With decades of writing experience, both in and outside the legal profession, Holly brings significant communication skills in her work as a lawyer. Before practicing law, Holly was an editor in New York City and Stamford, Connecticut.
