Howard M. Ehrenberg has 30 years of experience in bankruptcy law representing bankruptcy trustees, receivers, businesses, creditors, government entities, purchasers and sellers of assets and litigants throughout California in matters involving bankruptcy law, receiverships and commercial and business litigation.
Mr. Ehrenberg has been a member of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel of Trustees, appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee since 1995. In that role he has worked on tens of thousands of cases.
Mr. Ehrenberg has leveraged his expertise in bankruptcy law and his experience as a trustee to his work as a third-party mediator; he has mediated settlements in all matters related to bankruptcy law, and is a member of the Bankruptcy Mediation Panel of the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Central District of California.
Additionally, Mr. Ehrenberg is a Credentialed State Court Receiver. He is certified as a Business Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification, and is also an active member of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, the Financial Lawyers Conference, American Bankruptcy Institute and Council of Certified Bankruptcy Specialists.
He serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Safety Belt Safe, Inc., a national organization that promotes child car safety.
Every year since 2004, Mr. Ehrenberg has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer.
Mr. Ehrenberg graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in rhetoric, and earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California.
