India K. Scarver focuses her practice on toxic tort litigation in federal and state courts, compliance with and litigation involving data privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, and various contract disputes.
She was a member of the trial team defending a major US chemical company in multidistrict litigation involving personal injury claims. India also focuses on serving clients to ensure and improve compliance with ever-evolving data privacy and security law, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She works to develop Incidence Response Plans and Risk Assessments tailored specific to the clients’ needs and industry areas.
India obtained her Masters in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies in conjunction with her law degree and she volunteers her time serving low-income clients in debt collection, domestic relations and landlord-tenant cases.
She is an active member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Women Lawyers of Franklin County. She is a member of the 2018 class of the Columbus Bar Association’s Barrister Leadership Program.
