Ira Alan Jacobs

Ira has been practicing with Jeff since 1992. Before this, he was the acting Family Caseflow Coordinator for the Hartford Family Court. He practices both Special Education Law and Family Law, litigating, as collaborative divorce counsel and as a divorce mediator.

He is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA), CCDM,Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group, and Central Connecticut Collaborative Family Law Group, IACP, as well as the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations.

Ira volunteers as a Special Master for Hartford Superior Court, and at Boy Scout Troop 162 in West Hartford.

Ira has been a special education advocate for his daughter since 2004.

Ira is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
