Israel Ramon is a shareholder in the law firm of Ramon & Medrano S.C. He received a bachelor’s degree in Management and Business, magna cum laude, from Barat College and law degree from Marquette University Law School. Mr. Ramon received the highest grade in his worker’s compensation class while at Marquette. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Ramon was a Registered Respiratory Therapist working in hospitals and he was also a clinic instructor at a respiratory therapy school. His areas of practice are Worker’s Compensation and Social Security Disability.
He frequently lectures on Worker’s Compensation Law and Disability Law. He has been the Chair the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Annual Worker’s Compensation Update seminar and has given numerous presentations to legal, community and union groups.
Israel volunteers on the executive boards of the Milwaukee LGBT Center and The Spanish Center of Milwaukee. He established the Voces de la Frontera’s Free Legal Clinic. He also volunteers his time as a consultant to the Spanish Center of Milwaukee, the Mexican Consulate in Chicago, and is a pro bono attorney for the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. Mr. Ramon strongly believes in helping those communities that need help the most.
