J.A. (Lon) Bouknight advises energy industry clients on a broad range of regulatory and antitrust matters, including obtaining regulatory approvals and antitrust clearance for major mergers and acquisitions. He also represents clients in commercial disputes involving energy supply and transmission matters, and advises senior management and corporate board members on highly sensitive matters, such as governance questions and allegations of wrongdoing.
He has acted as lead counsel in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and in federal and state actions.
