
J. Dormer Stephen is an experienced attorney and partner at the law firm Shipman & Goodwin LLP in Hartford, Connecticut. He is also a member of Shipman & Goodwin’s Opportunity Zones team and advises clients on different aspects of the Qualified Opportunity Zones program. Before joining his current law firm, he was a Partner in the Corporate Department of the law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from 1998 to 2012.
Dormer Stephen attended Siena College and completed his B.S. magna cum laude in 1993. He went on to obtain his J.D. magna cum laude in 1996 from the Albany Law School. He earned the license to practice law in the state of Connecticut in the year 1996.
