Kennard Neal concentrates on complex business litigation, products liability, e-discovery, compliance issues and document management questions. He is a member of the Litigation & Trial Practice Group and co-chairs the firm’s Special Resources and Electronic Discovery Unit.
Mr. Neal has represented a wide variety of clients in courts throughout the Southeast, including chemical companies, agricultural products businesses, component parts manufacturers, hospitals, automobile companies and energy and communication businesses and has served as both national litigation and regional coordinating counsel for numerous businesses.
Mr. Neal is the author of the Treatise on Georgia Products Liability Law and has written and lectured on trial and case management issues throughout the country. One primary focus of Mr. Neal’s practice is assisting clients in efficiently managing e-discovery responsibilities and issues, which includes document collection, selecting vendors, litigation holds, conducting document reviews and implementing strategies to reduce costs, increasing efficiencies and improving accuracies of electronic discovery.
Mr. Neal also focuses on assisting companies in developing or improving compliance plans and document management programs. He has worked directly with clients on a wide variety of compliance issues, including structuring compliance programs, compliance audits, internal investigations, document retention programs and governmental inquiries. Mr. Neal has also pioneered the development of web-based compliance training programs for clients of the firm.
