Jack Witty Allen

Witty joined the firm in 2003, primarily practicing in the areas of real estate law, title searches and real estate closings. In addition, he has been involved with corporate and entity formation, wills, leases, litigation, bankruptcy, domestic relations and probate matters.

Witty, a graduate of the University of Alabama, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management in 1977, and graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1980.

Witty’s family has been active in homebuilding in Athens, Alabama for over 30 years. Prior to joining the firm, he served as site manager for Allen Building & Development, a residential construction business. He is a licensed homebuilder and is a past President of the Athens Limestone County Homebuilders Association.

Before helping with the family construction business, Witty was a partner with another local law firm, and practiced there for over fifteen years. He is very community minded and is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations.

He is a former President of the Decatur Kiwanis Club, Boy Scout Leader (and former Eagle Scout), Sunday School teacher and former youth leader at Central Baptist Church.
