Jackson H. Ables III has litigated cases in seven states, including cases involving large loss insurance fraud, securities fraud, antitrust and R.I.C.O. violations, a gas well blow-out, print media and motion picture defamations, commerce between the United States and a foreign government, mass tort and natural disaster insurance coverage disputes, and numerous industrial and consumer products.
Jack was involved in preventing illegal statistical sampling to influence the decennial U.S. census of 2000. His defense of a libel action over Orion’s “Mississippi Burning” led to the reopening of the investigation of the 1963 murder of Medgar Evers and to the conviction of Evers’ murderer in 1994.
Jack has been recognized continuously since 2007 in three of Marquis Publications’ directories: Who’s Who In the World, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in American Law. He serves clients in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
He serves on the National Steering Committees for ALFA International’s Commercial Litigation, Insurance and Product Liability Practice Groups and served for several years as Editor of the Products Liability Practice Group’s national publication.
