James C. Brincefield Jr. is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Before graduating from Georgetown University and its Law School, he held a Real Estate Broker’s License.
He was admitted to the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia in 1966 and, in 1976, he was awarded a dual Master’s Degree from the American University Graduate School of Business. He has been in private practice in Virginia and D.C. since 1966. Beau was elected to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ (NVAR) Hall of Fame in 2002.
Beau has been a frequent author and lecturer on real estate subjects and civil litigation and he is frequently quoted in Forbes Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Washington Times and other national and local publications. Many of the publications which he has written or been quoted or mentioned in are reproduced in the Publications section of our web site.
In addition to practicing law, Beau has enjoyed a second, part-time career as a professional actor (SAG, AFTRA, AEA). He has appeared in many productions on stage, in the movies and on television since 1990.
