James F. Faucher II is an associate in the firm’s Albany office, bringing to the General Liability team a detailed knowledge of the legal process at every stage.
James has represented clients in many types of civil litigation and transactional matters, including corporate law and governance, partnership disputes, shareholder litigation, trademark infringement, and breach of contract actions, and has developed a special focus on counseling emerging ventures.
Prior to practicing law, James served over four years in the United States Army, as an infantryman in the 101st Airborne Division, rising to the rank of sergeant and holding the position of Team Leader.
He completed two combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he mentored and led his fellow soldiers and helped to train Iraqi police in combat operations and security. He remains committed to past and present members of the U.S. military.
At Albany Law School, James was Assistant Executive Director of the Veteran’s Rights Pro Bono Project and Treasurer of the Student Alumni Veteran Association. James was also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Science and Technology, and captain of the Albany Law rugby team.
