James Graessle

James T. Graessle is an associate in King & Spalding’s Atlanta office and a member of the firm’s Trial and Global Disputes group. His practice focuses on litigating complex commercial disputes and representing businesses in high-stakes product liability and mass tort actions.

James earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. James served as Managing Editor of the Florida Law Review and was a member of the law review’s inaugural Diversity Committee.

During law school, James worked as a research assistant to Professor Darren Hutchinson, and he spent his final semester at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection assisting with investigations and litigation concerning businesses accused of committing unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent commercial practices.

James maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on individuals who may be denied justice because they cannot afford legal representation. Currently, James’ pro bono practice includes representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States to escape persecution in their home countries.
