Jamie represents companies in complex litigation throughout the country with a focus on IP protection and brand defense. He has significant experience investigating and litigating cases involving counterfeiting, software piracy, and malicious online conduct (such as phishing, hacking, tech support scams, etc.). Besides litigation, Jamie advises clients on all aspects of anti-counterfeiting programs and cybersecurity in order to successfully investigate and stop unlawful behavior.
Jamie has also represented technology companies in matters involving Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, trade secrets, noncompete agreements, contract disputes and licensing agreements.
Jamie has published articles on a variety of topics (including big data and the practice of law, law and technology and trade secrets), and has been quoted and featured in articles about law and technology. While in law school, Jamie served as editor-in-chief of the Washington Law Review, and received the Dean’s Medal.
