
James K. Hammond’s range of experience includes virtually all aspects of patent litigation, prosecution, opinion preparation, licensing, and counseling in diverse technical areas.
Jim has participated in a number of litigated matters in U.S. district courts and at the U.S. International Trade Commission involving chemical, electrical, biotechnology, and mechanical technologies, including litigation management matters. He has substantial experience at patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), primarily in electrical and mechanical technologies.
His work includes a full range of hands-on prosecution experience, as well as managing the prosecution work of others on substantial patent portfolios. With respect to licensing, Jim has worked on a number of extensive licensing programs, primarily from the perspective of licensors.
