James D. Houghton focuses his practice on commercial litigation, business torts, contractual disputes, and financial services litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Jim clerked for the Honorable Timothy E. Meredith on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
Jim graduated, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. During law school, Jim was a torts research assistant, a member of the consumer protection clinic, and the executive technology editor on the Journal of Healthcare Law & Policy. Jim additionally interned at the United States Attorney’s Office and the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
