James Pulliam

James J. Pulliam’s practice is focused on real estate and land use including site acquisition and development, purchase and sale work and commercial and retail leasing. Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Jim worked for three years as a commercial litigator, with significant experience in the areas of construction defect, premises liability and commercial litigation.

During law school, Jim was an extern at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. In addition, he previously worked as a field deputy for the Los Angeles City Council.
