
Attorney James P. Welch is an associate member of the firm and handles the General Practice of the firm for our Harrisburg office. In addition to General Practice, Attorney Welch also has extensive experience representing individuals, businesses, and developers in a wide variety of complex real estate matters including acquisitions, land development, zoning and related areas.
While Attorney Welch handles the firm’s Dauphin County practice, he also travels to other Mooney Law office locations to meet with clients concerning employment law matters, such as wage issues, discrimination, wrongful termination, and unemployment compensation.
Attorney Welch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009, and his law degree from William & Mary in 2012. Prior to joining Mooney Law in January 2018, he worked for a large Harrisburg based Pennsylvania law firm representing clients in all areas of real estate and land use and development.
His experience practicing before municipal boards and commissions provides clients with valuable insight and knowledge when navigating the various approval processes required to legally use and develop property.
Attorney Welch and his family reside in West Manchester Township.
