Jamie has litigated objections to use of cash collateral, obtaining adequate protection, the value of assets and claims, claim priority disputes, assumption and assignment of executory contracts, objections to disclosure statements and proposed plans of reorganization, preference and fraudulent transfer avoidance adversary actions, and discharge and dischargeability complaints.
She also represents businesses in litigation arising from contract disputes, such as shareholder disputes, breach of noncompete, nonsolicitation and nondisclosure agreements, and payment and performance disputes. As a litigator, Jamie is adept at taking lessons from each of her diverse litigation matters and applying them to the unique facts and circumstances of each new case. In law school, Jamie received awards for earning the highest grade in her Tort and Advanced Bankruptcy classes.
She was also selected to The Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society that invites law students in the top 10 percent of their graduating class. As an undergraduate, Jamie was active in student government and a member of Florida Blue Key. Jamie externed for Judge Glenn, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
