Jane Rusin work at Jane F. Rusin Law PLLC. Practice areas Bankruptcy and debt, Probate, General practice, Elder law and Estate planning. In 2004, I graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy, School of Law with a Juris Doctor. I was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2007 and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 2009.
I opened my law practice in 2009. Since starting my practice, I have helped many clients eliminate debt and saved homes from foreclosure through bankruptcy, assisted clients through the probate process, assisted clients in obtaining divorces, created estate plans, and advocated for clients in child custody battles.
Through my previous work experience as a chemist, quality assurance officer, and project manager, I developed an attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as those skills of a good listener and facilitator.
I am an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, and Estate Planning / Probate Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
I hold free Estate Planning and Medicaid PIanning seminars for community and church groups. I perform pro bono work at Most Holy Trinity’s Legal Aid Clinic.
