Janet Cantrell

Janet Cantrell is a native of Ontario Canada. She has lived in Georgia for the past twenty-six years and became a United States Citizen some nine years ago. Janet attended Middle Georgia State College where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She received her Juris Doctor from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in May of 2016.

Prior to realizing her dream of becoming a licensed attorney Janet worked in the Emergency Room where she was trained as one of the first Physicians Assistants and upon moving to Georgia she worked as a paralegal handling Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, Criminal, Disability, Bankruptcy and Domestic matters.

During Law School Janet was sworn in under the third year practice act and interned at the Houston County Public Defenders’ office handling misdemeanor trials and motions under the supervision of seasoned attorneys.

Janet brings over twenty years of legal experience to the table and looks forward to personally assisting you with your case. She lives in the Windsor Forest Neighborhood with her son Dylan and their dog Cherry. She enjoys antiquing, art galleries, reading and the beach.
