Janette M. Jordan (Fellows-Papak) is an associate with Plog & Stein, P.C., having started with the firm in 2017. Janette dedicates her practice to family law, though also maintains a firm grasp on various aspects of probate law, including guardianships. Janette is the most recent addition to the firm and will be primarily staffing our Broomfield office.
Prior to coming to Plog & Stein, Janette practiced family law throughout the metropolitan area. Her familiarity with all counties, including Denver, Jefferson, Broomfield, and Adams courts makes her a valuable member of our team.
Her case experience includes divorce, legal separation, allocation of parental responsibilities (child custody), separation agreements and parenting plans, modifications, maintenance, adoption, contempt proceedings, relocation, grandparent rights, and other family law matters.
Janette operates under the guiding principle that her clients’ needs come first. It is always best to have a knowledgeable, experienced attorney to protect your interests and rights when facing any legal issues.
Janette understands that it can be extremely traumatic and stressful when families are involved in legal proceedings against each other. She is dedicated to providing you with the quality service and representation you deserve. Her goal is to set realistic expectations by explaining the legal process so that you know what to expect.
From there, she provides the support, advice, and solid representation needed to get the job done. Janette prides herself on having outstanding communication skills, which helps not only with making sure her clients understand their options, but also when it comes time to negotiate issues on their cases. Equally comfortable both in and out of the courtroom, Janette’s only goal is the best possible outcome for you, the client.
As a child, Janette’s family moved to Boulder. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, and remains an avid Buffalos fan to this day. Having received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from CU, Janette went on to law school in Kansas.
Upon obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from the Washburn University School of Law, she hightailed it back to Colorado as fast as possible! The lure of being near family and familiar surroundings was enough to pull her back to the Denver area to start her legal career.
