Jared E. Padway is a business law associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, and a member of the firm’s Environmental Practice. Previously, Jared was a summer associate with Foley where he focused on interpreting regulatory requirements for clients, and conducting environmental due diligence for transactional projects.
During law school, Jared was a judicial intern at the Supreme Court for the State of Wisconsin where he authored bench memos for issues presented before the court. He also worked at the Wisconsin Innocence Project providing post-conviction relief for inmates in need of representation.
Education :
Jared earned his law degree from University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2018). While in law school, he was awarded the 2017 Bernard Berk Memorial Award for his outstanding contributions to the economically disadvantaged, and the Mathys Memorial Award for his achievement in competitions as an oralist on the University of Wisconsin’s Moot Court Team.
He also holds a master’s degree in science in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Arizona (M.S., 2015). Jared received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Lawrence University (B.S., cum laude, 2011).
