Jarrod Braxton Bazemore practices in the area of defense litigation with an emphasis on transportation matters, automobile accidents, coverage issues, products liability, workers compensation, fraud, bad faith, and casualty.
He has successfully tried both jury trials and bench trials throughout the State of Alabama. As a frequent lecturer, Jarrod’s speaking engagements have in recent years included the following:
During his undergraduate studies, Jarrod achieved membership in Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies, and was a two year First Alabama Bank Right Way Scholar, and was awarded the 1995 Alabama Bankers’ Association Student Achievement Award.
In law school, Jarrod was a three year recipient of the Hugh Reed, Jr., Memorial Scholarship, was a member of Alabama Law & Psychology Review and Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society, and sat for two years as Associate Justice on the University of Alabama School of Law Honor Court.
Jarrod is the co-author of Tales Of The Tide, a book about University of Alabama athletics. He has three children, Jackson, Liza Barton, and Lucy.
Jarrod is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He recently was recognized as Alabama Rising Stars 2012 and 2013 by Super Lawyers
