Jason Curles is an experienced litigator who represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business and commercial disputes.
At Taylor English, Mr. Curles focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, corporate governance, shareholder actions, banking and special asset litigation, including foreclosure confirmation actions and fiduciary litigation involving trustees and corporate officers and directors.
Mr. Curles represents clients in disputes regarding alleged breach of contract, guaranty and fiduciary duty, as well as fraud, corporate mismanagement and general commercial disputes.
Mr. Curles litigates in state and federal trial and appellate courts as well as alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. He also has represented clients in internal and government investigations.
Mr. Curles was born and raised in Atlanta and received his JD from Mercer University, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. He received a BBA in management information systems from the University of Georgia, where he was a First Honor Graduate.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Curles was an associate in the securities, corporate and fiduciary litigation practice group of the Atlanta office of Powell Goldstein LLP (now Bryan Cave LLP). Mr. Curles lives in Dunwoody with his wife and two children and, in his spare time, enjoys golf, photography and traveling.
