Jason B. Jendrewski represents and counsels employers with respect to all aspects of labor and employment law, including defending clients in federal and state courts as well as in administrative proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, New York City Commission on Human Rights and New York State Department of Labor.
Jason also advises public accommodations regarding ADA Title III compliance matters, including facilities accessibility and website accessibility issues, and represents public accommodations in connection with disability discrimination lawsuits in federal and state courts, as well as compliance investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Prior to Joining Fox, Jason was an associate at a New York law firm where he handled labor and employment law matters. He also was a labor relations trial examiner at the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining, where he served as a hearing officer at formal proceedings concerning improper labor practice charges, representation petitions and challenges to the arbitrability of contractual grievances. Jason recommended the disposition of these matters and drafted decisions for the OCB’s adjudicative boards.
Jason is a graduate of Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and Brooklyn Law School, where he was a recipient of a Prince Merit Scholarship and served as articles editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law.
During law school, Jason worked as a law clerk at the National Football League Management Council, a Peggy Browning Fellow at the Screen Actors Guild and a labor relations intern at the Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball. He also served as an intern to the Honorable Denis R. Hurley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
The New York State Bar Association awarded Jason first place in the 2009 Dr. Emanuel Stein Memorial Law Student Writing Competition and published his award-winning article in its Labor and Employment Law Journal.
Jason is active in Cornell alumni affairs. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cornell ILR Alumni Association and is a past president of the Cornell Class of 2005.
