Jason Reid joined the firm in 2012 and practices in the areas of criminal defense and DUI. Jason began his study of the law while attending Baker University, where he was also a linebacker on the school’s football team.
Jason graduated from the University of Kansas as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Jason went on to study law at the prestigious Washington & Lee University in Virginia, receiving a scholarship all 3 years.
Jason has dedicated his career to the defense of persons facing DUI and criminal charges and traffic citations. He began his career in the Office of the Public Defender for Orange County Florida, and participated in over 40 trials by the time he left in 2012 for the private sector.
In 2012, he joined the Tampa Bay law firm of Carlson, Meissner, Hart & Hayslett, continuing to focus on the defense of persons facing DUI and criminal charges and traffic citations.
He works in the Bradenton Office, representing people throughout Southwest Florida. In 2013, the Florida Bar bestowed upon him the honor of Board Certification in Criminal Law, which indicates he is an expert in his field of criminal trials.
