Jason Rhae Harmon represents manufacturers in both individual disputes and complex litigation centered on a range of products, from pharmaceuticals and medical devices to animal health and industrial products.

A significant portion of Jason’s practice is focused on defending pharmaceutical manufacturers in multidistrict litigation (MDL). He assists in all aspects of mass tort litigation, including motion practice, depositions, expert development and defense, witness preparation and trial preparation.

As part of his MDL practice, Jason has helped to successfully defend clients from broad ESI discovery requests and aggressively sought discovery from opposing parties, both on an MDL-wide basis and in specific cases during bellwether discovery.

Jason also defends product manufacturers in commercial disputes, assisting in all stages of discovery, motion practice and alternative dispute resolution. He provides unique support in cross-border disputes.

He is both fluent in Spanish and has experience obtaining documents and testimony from third parties in numerous countries, including Mexico, France and Canada. He has also appeared in foreign proceedings and coordinated with foreign counsel in litigating related issues.

Jason’s passion for litigation and advocacy started in law school. He was a judicial intern for the Hon. Julie A. Robinson at the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, a staff editor for the Kansas Law Review, and a competitor in various moot court competitions.

He now dedicates a significant portion of his time mentoring law students through various organizations and as an assistant moot court coach for students participating in the National Native American Law Student Association Moot Court Competition.

Jason also advocates for juveniles and parents facing termination of parental rights at trial and on appeal on a pro bono basis.

Jason is a citizen of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and a member of the National Native American Bar Association. He is also a member of DRI, the leading organization of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel.
