Jayme Lehman was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in sciences.
Following graduation, Jayme was employed by the Scottsdale City Court as a Spanish-speaking court services representative for more than five years; for the latter half of her time there, she was the courtroom clerk for the presiding judge.
Her courtroom handled all aspects of misdemeanor cases, including evidentiary hearings, jury trials, juvenile offenses, and probation violation hearings. From this experience, she realized that a career as a lawyer was the perfect fit for her.
Jayme obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2015. While there, Jayme was an Executive Editor of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal, and her article “One Quest for Eleven Distinct Wine Regions.
Jayme began working as a law clerk for Mark DuBiel in 2013 while still in law school. In addition to extensive motion practice on cases, Jayme acted as Mark’s research assistant for his chapters included in the 2014 and 2015 “Inside the Minds” publications.
Following her graduation and admission to the Arizona Bar, Mark offered Jayme a position as an associate attorney, which she readily accepted. Jayme believes that each client’s case is a new challenge that requires an individualized approach, and she shares Mark’s commitment to clients and providing excellent representation.
