
Ms. Jean Wilson is counsel in Seyfarth Shaw’s Boston office, specializing in the area of labor and employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Wilson began her practice in the Chicago Office of Seyfarth Shaw before joining the Boston Office in 2000. Ms. Wilson also represents employers in the defense of class action and multi-plaintiff discrimination law suits, wage and hour claims, and employment-related breach of contract and tort claims.
Ms. Wilson represents management in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters, including litigation of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation law suits in state and federal courts, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and other state administrative agencies.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Wilson counsels employers on a wide variety of employment matters, including disability accommodation, family and medical leave, workplace investigations, performance management and discipline, terminations, reductions-in-force, background checks, independent contractor/employee classification, and whistleblower claims.
Ms. Wilson regularly assists clients in drafting employment contracts, severance and separation agreements, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, personnel polices, and employee handbooks.
